Q  How do I get access to the DuPont Digital Asset Management System?


A  On the home page (www.digitalassets.dupont.com), click on the "Request Access" button and complete the form.  Once your request has been approved, you will be sent an ID and password via email.

 



Q  I haven't used the system for a while and now I cannot login.  What do I do?


A  You may need to reset your password.  To do this, click on the "Reset Password" button and complete the form.  You will be emailed an automatically generated password.

                                 

Q  How do I change my password?


A  Click the "Change Password" button and complete the form.

 



Q  When changing my password, why won't it accept my password?


A  For security reasons, the system requires the use of "Hard Password" rules which means you will need to use three types of characters to create a new password of at least 8 characters.  These rules are:

 

    1. Upper case letters
    2. Lower case letters
    3. Numeric characters

Q  I can see the file but I can't download it?


A  There are different permissions in MediaBin that allow your secure access to view files, download files, or upload files.  If you require the ability to download files from a certain area, please go to the home page and click on the “Help Form” button.  In the form, select “Folder Access Request” from the Type of Problem list and then specify the exact area you need access to in the Description of Problem box.  The DuPont Digital Asset Management Support Team will review your request and submit it for approval.  You will be contact via email or phone.

 



Q  Why can't I upload the file?


A  There are different permissions in MediaBin that allow your secure access to view files, download files, or upload files.  Only certain users are given access to upload files into the system and they may only be uploaded to a specific external area.  In the form, select “Folder Access Request” from the Type of Problem list and then specify the exact area you need access to in the Description of Problem box.  The DuPont Digital Asset Management Support Team will review your request and submit it for approval.  You will be contact via email or phone.

 



Q  I am trying to download a file.  Why isn't coming through.


A  The size of the file and the type of retrieval task play a large role in the amount of time for the file to be processed and downloaded.  If it seems to be taking longer than it should, please contact the DuPont Digital Asset Management Support Team for assistance.
